Team Alignment Coaching
Great teams don’t just happen — they’re built through clarity, trust, and shared purpose.
We help teams come together behind a clear sense of direction, with open communication and ways of working that promote both high performance and high engagement.
There are certain moments when this work adds significant value — when a team is forming or reforming after change; when a new leader needs to unite people behind a shared purpose; when transformation demands alignment across functions; or when long-standing tensions need to be resolved so the team can move forward.
We’ve helped a global HR leadership team unite around a shared vision, supported an EMEA leadership team in banking to define and communicate its cultural and strategic remit, and worked with an investment team navigating a major organisational transformation to strengthen collaboration and decision-making.
We’ve also partnered with the principal of a world-renowned educational institution to establish a new senior team behind a bold, transformational agenda, and helped other teams draw a line under historic challenges to commit to a more cohesive future.
In many cases, we’ve turned around teams suffering from low engagement and low trust — helping them rebuild psychological safety, strengthen relationships, and embed new behaviours and shared values that restore confidence and performance. Other times, we build on the positive: helping already successful teams pause, take stock, and consciously shape the culture and environment they want to create for one another.
Our tailored programmes
always feature:
Insight gathering – through interviews, our OSA 360 feedback process, or other survey tools.
Group dynamics diagnostics – such as The Five Behaviors model to understand trust, conflict, and accountability.
Facilitated team workshops – to explore goals, relationships, and culture.
Individual coaching – supporting each team member to play their part in the whole.
Team narrative or manifesto – a co-created description of what the team stands for, its values, and its commitments to one another.
Appreciative Inquiry working groups – to embed change and sustain momentum over six to twelve months.
Our goal is to help teams think more clearly together, speak more honestly, and perform with collective confidence and cohesion.
Workshops and Programmes
Our workshops, masterclasses and programmes are always highly interactive, spirited and engaging, grounded, as always, in our customary blend of art and science.
Sessions are tailored after careful scoping, and range in format from short, sharp, focused sessions to highly immersive 1-3 day workshops and 6–12-month leadership development programmes.
As well as leadership and communication, topics include: building great relationships, leading high-performing teams, giving feedback and holding more difficult conversations, effective delegation, storytelling, influencing and motivating others, leading change, coaching and mentoring others, enhancing productivity and effectiveness.
