Feedback-gathering
At Open Space, we see feedback as a cornerstone of growth. When gathered thoughtfully and used well, it creates clarity, builds trust, and helps people and organisations move forward with confidence and purpose.
We gather feedback in two ways. We conduct interviews and focus groups and apply thematic analysis to gather rich, honest feedback. And we use online surveys, including our proprietary OSA 360° tool based on the Open Space Performance Five model (see below).
This dual approach offers both rich qualitative insight and measurable data. The result is a clear picture of individual or team strengths and focused areas for development – as well as an account of personal impact and group factors such as culture, values and the degree of alignment between participants.
Our feedback reports highlight key themes that inform personalised development plans — including 1:1 and team coaching — and support decisions around roles, promotions, and more effective ways of working.
Performance Five
The Open Space Performance Five model is built on two decades of leadership research and practical application – encapsulating critical areas of performance activity that make the difference between sustained success and failure.
5 Critical Performance Domains (Performance Compass, Relationships, Influence, Execution, Sustaining Success)
15 Performance Skillsets, 3 in each domain
45 Performance Competencies, 3 in each skillset
5 Stages of Success (Connect, Align, etc), mapping out the cycle of key performance phases
Five Critical Domains
Our performance framework is built on five interconnected domains. By mastering these five domains, leaders will develop a holistic, adaptable, and results-driven leadership style that enhances both personal and organisational performance.
Performance compass
Relationships
Success is built on strong relationships, effective communication, and the ability to work well with different people.
Influence
Execution
Being organised, adaptable, and accountable leads to stronger execution and better results.
